左：第１シリーズ）水中戦を戦うターザン。ディック・パワーズの表紙は本巻まで。
右：第３シリーズ）なんでオランウータンが？？と思ったら本巻の舞台はスマトラ島。日本兵に対抗して、ターザンとアメリカ人・オランダ人・中国人が”外人部隊”を結成して戦う・・・という、さすが１９４７年刊行の作品。いまなら”多国籍軍”というところでしょうか。でもなぜターザンがスマトラに？？答えは下を見よ！
ということで、未訳ゆえ例によって裏表紙（第３シリーズ）の釣書をご紹介。めちゃくちゃ面白そうな設定なんですがね。未訳なのが惜しい。
